Course Description

This course provides students with scientifically-based methods of teaching reading to all students. Methods and materials for children with perceptual learning disabilities, including dyslexia, and linguistically diverse learners are introduced. This course also introduces effective instructional techniques, such as pacing, corrective feedback, and distributed practice, that encourage reading mastery.
