LCC International University
Colorado Christian University has formed a transfer agreement and partnership with LCC International University (LCC). Located in the Baltic port of Klaipeda, Lithuania, LCC is a Christian Liberal Arts university with a diverse population of 600 students representing over 60 different countries. All LCC classes are taught in English, giving students exposure to a variety of different cultures through classroom diversity and intercultural engagement.
Outside of the classroom, study abroad students live with international roommates, cook meals in community kitchens and are invited to a variety of cultural events. Three trips are included in the study abroad program: orientation in Vilnius, Lithuania, a long weekend in Riga, Latvia and Tallinn, Estonia and a week-long trip to the country of Georgia. Students also receive a stipend to cover groceries and local transportation during their semester at LCC.
CCU is pleased to provide course substitutions for Study Abroad semesters at LCC in the fields of Business, Psychology, Theology, and English / Literature. As it is often difficult to find opportunities to study in these areas from a Christian perspective outside of the United States, this is a great opportunity for CCU students to experience life, culture, and academics in Eastern Europe.
LCC is an international affiliate school in the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU. LCC was established in 1991 and boasts an international faculty and staff with about half the faculty hailing from the US and Canada, 30% from Lithuania and the rest from a variety of other international backgrounds.
