Course Description

This is an integrated course presenting the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, historical trends, and empirical findings of the physical sciences. Laboratory exercises and lectures explore motion, the four forces, heat, energy, chemical reactions, the structure and development of matter, the types and nature of chemical bonding, and the nature and history of the universe, the solar system, and the Earth.
