College Algebra

Course Description

Study of equations, inequalities, functions, graphs, exponents, logarithms. Note: During the first lecture in Week 2 of this course, students will be given an exam similar in content to the course final exam. If students complete this exam with a grade of 85% or better, students can either receive a passing grade of P and be done with the course, or be encourage to enroll into the online asynchronous offered course, MAT 115 - Pre-Calculus. If students do very poorly on the test, they can be encourage to enroll instead in the concurrent running course (same time), MAT 112 - Mathematics for Liberal Arts. Meets general education requirements for mathematics for health science majors.
