EDU440

Teacher candidates review research-based fundamentals and application of curriculum planning and development, instructional models, differentiated instruction, evaluation, and effective teaching strategies. They apply their research to the design and implementation of a secondary curricular unit in their endorsement areas aligned to Colorado Academic Standards. Teacher candidates complete the Student Teaching 1 course concurrently with EDU 440 to allow for implementation of lessons/assessments with students in a secondary partnership school.
