Course Description

This course serves as the capstone residency experience, providing an intensive, integrative course that synthesizes the knowledge, theories, and professional competencies developed throughout their counseling program. Students engage in applied learning experiences that prepare them for professional practice beyond the academic setting. The course includes instruction and practice in foundational supervision concepts, as well as the application of research and evidence-based strategies to support the integration of counseling skills and theoretical knowledge. Students critically evaluate their professional identity, articulate their role and competencies within the field, and demonstrate readiness for entry into the profession through reflective and experiential activities.
