The Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts degree is a 60-credit hour dual enrollment degree offered through the CCU Academy for high school students. The degree focuses on Colorado Christian University’s general education curriculum, which includes 36 hours of arts and humanities, biblical studies, communication, science, and social sciences and provides the freedom for students to explore fields of interest through the 24-credit hour elective requirement. The degree can be completed entirely online through CCU Academy’s online dual enrollment courses or through a combination of online dual enrollment courses and dual credit courses taken at one of CCU Academy’s partner private Christian high schools.

The Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts degree provides a solid foundation for many undergraduate majors and careers to help students get started out on the right foot for starting a college career or going into the workforce.

The Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts degree requires completion of 60 hours in the following areas:
General Education (36 hours)
Electives (24 hours)

Graduation Requirements for Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts Degree

The faculty recommends students in the A.A. in Liberal Arts to the Board of Trustees as candidates for graduation when they have completed the following requirements.

Completion of 60 credit hours as specified in the course requirements listed above. (A maximum of 15 credit hours of 300/400 level courses.)
A letter grade of C- or better in all courses and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all CCU coursework.
Meet the CCU Residency requirements .
Formal and timely application for graduation by the date specified by the University Registrar.
No outstanding financial obligation to the University.
