The Bachelor of Science in mathematics develops the mental aptitudes and analytical skills required for efficient use, appreciation, and understanding of mathematics. Course work is designed to help students see the interplay of applications, problem-solving, and theory. The program allows for academic study in a Christian context and for strong mathematical preparation for students to pursue graduate school or ministries and careers that require creative-thinking abilities in a broad range of areas including business, government, the sciences, and education.

Colorado Christian University has formed a relationship with the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) that enables those CCU mathematics students who have a 26 ACT in mathematics or equivalent SAT mathematics score to participate in selected CSM courses in order to complete the Bachelor of Science major in mathematics. All MAT courses above and including MAT 242 are taken at CSM.  Students, while registering under CCU prefixes, should expect to attend these classes at the Colorado School of Mines campus.

Students interested in teaching Math may earn an endorsement for Secondary Education Licensure Program: Mathematics  by completing the Mathematics major and the appropriate requirements of the School of Education.
