Communication Studies Minor

The Communication Studies minor provides students with an overview of the principles and applications of effective communication. Topics include an analysis of interpersonal relationships from an evangelical Christian worldview, the interaction and influence of mass communication and the emergence of new technologies, the development of advanced speaking skills, effective strategies for cross-cultural communications, and the legal, moral and ethical aspects of communication. Courses are offered online, providing maximum flexibility to study at convenient times and places.
Students may earn a minor in the field by completing the following six (6) courses, and any required prerequisites provided none of the courses is required in the student’s major.
