Cross Disciplinary Study in music theory, ear training and private lessons in songwriting will equip students to create original songs.  Students will learn how to notate and share ideas using notation software.  Students will be equipped to combine lyrical and musical ideas into compelling and expressive original musical works.

Students may earn a cross disciplinary study in Music Theory/Songwriting by completing the following 14 credit hours and any corresponding prerequisites provided none of the courses is required in the student’s major.
