MUA 130 - Piano Class

Class lessons in piano for beginning students, with emphasis on learning to read music. Students will practice a variety of literature from different styles and periods, develop technical skills, and develop skills in sight reading, transposition, improvisation, and harmonization.

Notes: For Music Majors or Minors this class (or MUA 115 - Piano (2 or 4)) is required until MUA 230 - Piano Proficiency (0) is passed. May be repeated for credit.
