BIO-206 Molecular Biology

The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the functioning of cells at the molecular level and an in-depth analysis of the central dogma of biology that occurs at the cellular level, i.e., DNA, RNA, and Protein formation. This will include organization of the genome, replication, transcription, translation, and regulation of gene expression.

Prerequisites: BIO 120 , BIO 121 , BIO 130 , BIO 131 ; Sophomore standing.
Semesters Offered: Every spring semester.
