BIO-340A Pathophysiology

Pathophysiology is a detailed investigation into the physiology of abnormal functions in humans due to diseased states. Fundamental concepts in cellular biology, genetics, and immunology will be initially established to create a foundation for the systematic investigation of abnormal functions according to organ systems. Diagnostic reasoning will be emphasized in case studies and special section are devoted to pediatrics.
