(2) In this course, you’ll learn how to evaluate K-6 students’ needs in reading and develop a research-based and workable plan for growing their skills. Through the use of diagnostic assessments, you’ll monitor students’ knowledge and conceptual understanding throughout a reading program. Then, based on the assessment results, you’ll learn how to develop your students’ skills by choosing the right intervention strategies and reading materials.
