You’ll develop strategies for engaging students’ brains in active processing during letter and word decoding, fluency development, vocabulary acquisition and elaboration, and comprehension of text at different levels of meaning. In addition, you’ll examine the similarities and differences between reading in print and electronic formats, especially in relationship to active reading.
