BIB 385 - Field Work in Biblical Archaeology I

(3) This course provides hands-on training in archaeological methods and techniques, experience in processing and classifying artifacts, and learning through excavation work, field trips, and lectures. The course requires participation for three weeks in an organized archaeological excavation in the land of the Bible.

Notes: If international travel is not possible, an alternative project may be arranged with approval of the Dean of the School of Theology.
