(3) Students compare and contrast different interpretive philosophies for the U.S. Constitution. When interpreting the Bible, what matters most is capturing God’s original intent as He spoke through those original human authors, not modern commentary that has since been added. In a similar way, students focus on understanding the meaning of the Constitution, as originally written by the authors.
