(3) Students learn the how of investigations rather than the what to do. Instead of concentrating on physical evidence, courtroom testimony, or any other specific task of investigations, students focus on the overall process of investigations in a logical and scientific/systematic way. These skills greatly benefit students when conducting inquiries of any kind.
