ECO 306A - Principles of Macroeconomics(3) This foundational course in macroeconomic theory explores the role of the government in the stabilization of the macroeconomy. Specific topics include unemployment, inflation, economic growth, gross domestic product, national income accounts, the business cycle, and the Federal Reserve system. Special focus is on monetary and fiscal policy strategy to stabilize our national economy.
Prerequisites: ECO 305A .
