ECO 315 - Economic Development(3) In the context of God’s mission in the world, students: explore post-WWII macroeconomic growth strategies, with a focus in market-led and hybrid approaches, both urban and rural, and including the various stakeholders (government, private sector, NGO’s, citizenry); analyze the various barriers to economic growth and develop effective solution strategies to the resulting poverties; explain and apply the Christian microenterprise and microfinance tool-kit as an important strategy in poverty alleviation.
Prerequisites: ECO 215 . When Offered Every fall semester.
