OUL 225 - Snow Shelters and Winter Camping(1) Includes a 3-day, 2-night backpacking trip. Students construct and sleep in snow shelters. Topics include tenting; clothing, gear, and food considerations; trip planning and risk management; and recognition and treatment of cold injuries.
