NUR 331A - Medication Administration

(3) This theory and lab course provides students with the basic knowledge and skills to safely administer medications. Content focuses on fluids and electrolytes, introduction to medication administration, dosage calculation, application of pharmacology principles, venipuncture techniques, IV therapies and IV site maintenance, as well as related nursing responsibilities.

Prerequisites: NUR 311A, BSN Nursing Majors Only.
