The Association is one of six regional institutional accrediting associations in the United States. The Higher Learning Commission is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
CCU’s College of Undergraduate Studies has been ranked in the top two percent of colleges nationwide by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA) for the past four years.

Counseling - CCU’s Master of Arts in Counseling program is nationally accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

Music - CCU’s School of Music is nationally accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
