Course Description

This course must be approved in advance by the Vice President of Academic Affairs and is designed to increase professional skills and integrate course learning with an employment experience. The course provides an overview of the employment relationship and focuses on entry-level employment skills such as understanding job requirements and communication. Students must maintain continuous employment at one worksite for a minimum of 45 hours within the semester for each credit enrolled. Notes: Pass/Fail. JBS courses may be repeated for credit. A maximum of 6 credits from all JBS courses may apply toward program requirements or electives. Course fees apply.
