Associate of Science: Logistics and Supply Chain Management

This program provides students with a study of supply chain management and logistics (SCM), the backbone of business around the world. SCM is the study of the processes of physical distribution and supply in domestic and international settings, including purchasing and inbound logistics, handling, warehousing, inventory and financial controls, and transportation. Subjects are integrated with a Christ-centered perspective enabling students to demonstrate excellence in the workplace and in their lives beyond the classroom. The AS in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is designed to give students the foundation courses for careers in manufacturing, retailing, carrier/transportation services, warehouse operations, and purchasing or transportation manager. The 15 hours of major coursework, as well as the general education and elective hours, may be transferred to the Bachelor of Science: Logistics and Supply Chain Management  degree at Colorado Christian University.

The AS requires a total of 60 credit hours for graduation, which includes 36 credit hours of general education, 15 credit hours of SCM major core courses, and 9 hours of elective credit. Prior college, military, and technical credits can be used toward the AS degree. Students may transfer in a maximum of 45 credit hours (75% of the AS degree requirements). Students may take a maximum of 15 credit hours of 300 and 400 level courses in the AS degree program.

Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

The Associate of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management requires completion of the following 60 credit hours:
General Education (36 hours)
Logistics and Supply Chain Management Major (15 hours)
Electives (9 hours)

General Education Core (36 credit hours)


Integrative Studies (3 credit hours)


Communications (9 credit hours)


Must include two written and one oral communication. BUS 104A  is required.

Humanities (6 credit hours)


Choose courses from two different disciplines. PHL 205A  is required.

History, Behavioral and Social Science (6 credit hours)


BUS 101A  is required. Must include one history (HIS prefix) course.

Biblical Studies (3 credit hours)


Mathematics (3 credit hours)


Natural/Physical Science (3 credit hours)


Choose one science course.

Computer Science (3 credit hours)


Only courses completed within the past 5 years will be accepted for General Education requirement.

Elective Requirements (9 credit hours)


Complete 9 additional elective credits.

Graduation Requirements for Associate of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management


The faculty recommends students in the AS in Logistics and Supply Chain Management to the Board of Trustees as candidates for graduation when they have completed the following requirements.

  1. Completion of 60 credit hours as specified in the course requirements listed above. (A maximum of 15 credit hours of 300/400 level courses.)
  2. A letter grade of D or better in all courses and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all CCU coursework.
  3. Meet the CCU Residency requirements .
  4. Formal and timely application for graduation by the date specified by the University Registrar.
  5. No outstanding financial obligation to the University.
