Secondary Science Licensure Program: B.S. General Science (CUS)

The Secondary Science Licensure Program graduates earn a B.S. in General Science. This program is 132-133 credit hours and offers supervised clinical practice experiences in both middle and high school settings. Upon program completion, the candidate has met all requirements for an institutional recommendation for an Initial Colorado Teacher License with an Endorsement in the area of Science.

The Secondary Education Science Licensure Program requires a major in General Science and completion of the following 132-133 credit hours:
General Education Core (42 credit hours)
General Science Major Core (52 credit hours)
Secondary Education Professional Core (39 credit hours)

Communication (9 credit hours)

Integrative Studies (3 credit hours)
