EGI 475 - Engineering Capstone

(5) This course is the capstone of the Industrial Engineering design sequence. Teams of students develop real solutions to real-world engineering problems. The project draws on student learning from previous engineering courses. Team-work skills and independence of thought is expected. An economic justification for the project and its feasibility, as well as an understanding of the contemporary issues surrounding their product’s sustainability, socio-political implications and environmental impacts are required. Off-site trips to local companies may also be required.

Prerequisites: EGI 410 EGI 414 , EGI 420 .
