MGT 201 - Organizational Behavior and Design

(3) This course is oriented toward developing a better understanding of human behavior and using that knowledge to help people be more productive and satisfied in various organizational settings, i.e. large publicly owned corporations and small privately owned companies and nonprofit organizations. The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the field of organizational behavior and the implications it has in the management of a rapidly evolving workforce, both nationally and globally. Students will receive extensive theoretical frames of reference for leading high performance environments as well as the opportunity to delve into current, live case studies from the management-consulting world.

Prerequisites: LED 101 ; BUS 101  or MGT 101 .
